Leading up to Christmas

Roberts family was not going to my parents house after the Polar Express so we had a little pre Christmas at the hotel. James family was very missed this week. The kids exchanged gifts, then played in the snow and swam in the pool. The adults did what we do best, eat and talk. We gave dad his gift. He gets to ride his own Nascar around the track about 20 times, this is something that he has been wanting to do for awhile. It is always fun to be together as a family.

We then went to the Mesa Temple to see the lights. It worked out perfect because we were able to meet up with some of Doug's family and visit. Doug's grandparents were there visiting his aunt and uncle. It is always nice to see as much family as possible.

Looks like fun. We sure miss you guys! Do you want to come to our winter trip this year to Lake Geneva to see the National Snow Sculpting Competition?

It was great you could stop over in Mesa, even though your stop was shortened by the weather. Good to see you made it to home that night without falling asleep at the wheel. It must have been a long day.
