It's complicated

So we finally got Tamara's results today. First, the nurse called and started the conversation "Unfortunately..." and Tamara nearly lost it. Turns out their machine had broken and they had to do the test somewhere else and it was postponed. There are several ways she could have started the conversation and unfortunately probably wasn't the best choice. So the doctor calls later and Tamara is pregnant but her HCG levels are really low. HCG are what they use to measure how far along the baby is. At this point the levels should be around 60 and they're at 15. The doctor said if they don't increase we'll lose the baby but there is a chance the levels will go up. She's going back for more tests on Monday which will give us a better idea of where we stand.
Obviously this is a better result than last time but in this situation progress doesn't mean much if it doesn't work in the end. So we hope it does work and if it doesn't the doctors have learned something so maybe it will next time. Anyways, we hope to have more news on Monday, hopefully more concrete and positive.
