Piper Day
On Saturday Doug and I were fortunate enough to go see Piper in Jersey with Jake and Reagan. It was so great to see her doing so well in such an adorable hospital. When you walk in there are these cool chairs and everything is so clean. The best part was that we were able to put Piper on a mat and play with her all night. She was shaking her rattle and turning on her own. Every time that she heard her fathers voice she would try to find where he was. Piper is so happy and doing so well, she inspires me more each day. I can't wait for the day that we get to play with her at home. Today Piper turns 11 months old and I am sure that Reagan has posted pictures of her new birthday dress. Piper is definitely the best dressed little girl in her new hospital. We enjoyed the time that we spent with Piper even if we were stuck on the George Washington bridge for two hours coming home.

We ended up not going down yesterday, to avoid a repeat of Saturday night (because of all the Pope security). So we are going tonight. We will make sure to tell her about the happy b-day blog you posted for her :)
Yay! Thanks so much for coming and being so cool about the late dinner, traffic and me getting huffy. Piper loves you guys!
Awww... what's up with the little bug? She has such sweet blue eyes.
